Workplace Violence mitigation

ISG training includes education on identifying potential threats, de-escalation techniques, and emergency response procedures. We also include information on relevant laws and policies, as well as guidance on how to report and respond to incidents of violence. ISG recommends that organizations provide training to various groups including managers and security personnel with content tailored to their specific roles and responsibilities.

Workplace violence training prepares employees to stay safe during any act or threat of physical violence, harassment, intimidation, or other dangerous behavior that occurs at work. The priority in developing a workplace violence prevention policy is to establish a system for documenting incidents in the workplace. Implementation of the reporting system, a workplace violence prevention policy and specific prevention strategies should be publicized company-wide, and appropriate training sessions should be scheduled.
