Ryan Kress

About Ryan

Ryan has over 20 years of diverse experience including work in the US military, emergency management, work as a first responder, and experience serving as an instructor for organizations of all sizes. Ryan has worked at the international embassy level, coordinating political and military efforts.  He has served on multiple deployments and missions for the US military including deployments to the Middle East and with Special Operations Command. Ryan has served as a strategic plans and policies planner with the Pentagon where he developed national-level policy.  He has been assigned to the military COVID response support, to US Presidential security detail, and he supported the military effort for Black Lives Matter and the January 2021 inauguration support in Washington, DC. 

Ryan has over twelve years of experience teaching active shooter response to schools and business organizations. As an active shooter instructor, Ryan balances the physical and emotional response needs during training development and implementation. Ryan approaches active shooter incident training through a focus on critical decision-making for complex attacks and creating tailored plans for the recipients of the training.

Ryan is currently employed as a firefighter in Washington State, serving as the Lead Active Shooter Response Instructor.  As a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, Ryan is also serving as a Director of Strategic Communications and Plans for the Washington State National Guard.  A graduate of Miami University of Ohio and the US Army’s Command and General Staff College, Ryan is Level 2 certified in Anti-Terrorism Force Protection and holds numerous FEMA and active shooter response certifications as well as a certification in critical decision-making for complex coordinated attacks.


jake Hinton

About Jake

Jake is the Chief Operating Officer for Integrated Security Group. In this role, Jake uses his wide-ranging experience and expertise in the legal and operational aspects of security planning to bring a unique perspective to solving our clients’ security challenges.

Jake currently works as a firefighter and emergency medical technician in the South Puget Sound of Washington state. In addition to his regularly scheduled duties, he also serves as a member of the department’s active shooter response instructor, training first responders in the area in various aspects of active shooter response including triage, tactical movement, and combat casualty care.

In addition to his work as a trainer and first responder, Jake is also a Washington-licensed attorney. His legal experience includes work as an Administrative Law Attorney and Military Prosecutor in the US Army where he wrote policies and regulations for major commands and prosecuted felony-level cases.

Following his military service Jake worked in the business world, advising commercial entities on various aspects of potential litigation and representing them in court when necessary. He now brings that experience to his work for Integrated Security Group, where his combination of legal and first responder experience brings a perspective that is ideally situated to create well-rounded security management solutions for our clients.

Outside of work, Jake enjoys sailing, traveling, and spending time with his family.


Andreas Bohman

About Andreas

Andreas serves as a senior advisor with ISG where his expertise in cyber security and experience in Special Operations make him a valued member to any organization ISG works with.

Andreas serves as Vice President of Information Technology and CIO for the University of Washington (UW). He has served 24 years in the United States military in both a military intelligence and special forces officer capacity. Andreas brings more than 25 years of technology, security, and operations leadership experience. A native of Sweden, Andreas immigrated to the United States in the early 1990s to join the military and continue his career in technology and engineering. After leaving active military duty, Andreas provided operational and technology leadership in a variety of roles, ranging from municipal government to multi-billion-dollar corporations in the private sector. Recent positions include serving as the Chief Information Security Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Vice President of Operations at Central Washington University.

Andreas earned a master’s degree in information assurance and cybersecurity from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont, and an executive MBA from Washington State University. Andreas completed his undergraduate studies in electronics engineering in Sweden, and he is nationally certified at the highest levels of information and cybersecurity, including the CISSP and CISM certifications.


Jordan Villenvue

About Jordan

Jordan is a Washington native who manages Integrated Security Group east coast operations, based out of Washington, DC. A program management, policy, and strategy professional by trade, Jordan has worked with dozens of organizations across the government and the private sector. Jordan currently writes and administers policy with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, overseeing a $300M program. Jordan has worked as a Program Manager for sensitive programs at the Pentagon and as the Lead Policy Analyst and Strategic Advisor for the National Guard’s Counterdrug Program. In these roles, Jordan has honed his policy expertise and is adept at writing and analyzing policy within the context of organizational strategy, culture, and operations at all levels. He has written government and corporate strategy, policy, and guidance documents for a range of business and government entities. An entrepreneur, Jordan runs two businesses in addition to his work in policy, strategy, and management. Jordan holds an MBA with focuses in both Consulting and Project Management from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and an undergrad in Political Science with a focus in International Security from the University of Washington. He also holds certificate-level credentials in Organizational Strategy and in Enterprise Operations and has completed coursework with Harvard’s HBX Program, the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).  Jordan gives lectures on high-performing teams at American University and discussions on the national security implications of narcotics in the Pacific at Department of Defense Institutions. Jordan is a senior Captain in the Washington Army National Guard and writes Army-wide strategy at the headquarters level. Professionally, Jordan enjoys helping organizations of all types build and implement strategies, an evolve to be more effective or profitable. Personally, Jordan enjoys mountaineering and hiking in the Pacific Northwest.
