Many organizations may plan for a security or safety incident at their organization from a big-picture perspective but may not consider the actions their employees may need to implement if an incident does occur. Trauma care is an important topic to consider and train for as part of your holistic safety preparedness.

ISG will cover the topic of trauma care in your organization.  As part of our services, we will educate your employees on the main causes of death in a traumatic emergency while using the M.A.R.C.H. method to provide information on assessing and treating injuries.  Topics will also include multi-casualty processes.

In a trauma care session, we will cover the phases of treating injuries from initial care at the point of injury to a medical evacuation. Recognizing that active learning is an important and effective way to learn basic first aid skills, we demonstrate through the use of hands-on learning and with medical equipment.  Attendees will learn the basics of tourniquet applications and wound packing.
